Street travelled to Syston to play a massively improved side from a game earlier in the season. The first two periods were tight and a huge penalty count favoured the home side. Street managed to score three long-range tries through Jimmy Loftus 2 and Cole Moore who ripped the ball in the Street 22 and ran the length of the pitch. Syston managed to score just before the end of the period. Defence was exceptional throughout the game and despite giving territory away multiple turnovers won held the Leicestershire team out. In the third period, 3 further tries were scored by Jimmy Loftus (3rd of game), Harvey Fisher (kick and regather) and Jacob Scandrett.
Jimmy Loftus has now scored 30 tries in 5 games. Next week U13’s travel to Balsall and Berkswell
